People use the Enema Bag for different reasons, but majority of the people use these bags for health benefits such as having a lower aspect of the colon cleaned especially anus, rectum and sigmoid colon. While others use these Enema Bag for personal hygiene and for other various reasons.

The Enema Bag can be inserted after applying some lubricant such as Vaseline, PR useable lubricant or some types of oils.

The Enema Bag should be used for personal purpose to avoid cross contamination. It may be used several times as long as proper procedures are followed for sterilisation after each use.
